A double-bogey on the 13th hole Friday was the difference between playing the weekend or not for Mike Weir at the ’25 Masters.

The 2003 green jacket winner was four over par through 36 holes and missed the cut by two strokes.

He had rounds of 75 and 73.

Weir birdied the sixth and 12th hole in the second round but bogeyed numbers nine, 10 and 14 to go along with the aforementioned seven on the decisive hole down the stretch on day two.

Canadian Corey Connors is tied for third place at Augusta heading to round three on Saturday. He’s just two shots behind the leader Justin Rose.
