Members of the Plympton-Wyoming Special Events committee were hoping to attract a couple of dozen cars to their new event, Fins and Fenders at McKay Park. Instead, nearly 70 classic cars showed up Sunday to the delight of the people on hand.

Maceo Garcia Rodriguez, 4, of Corunna watched the cars roll in with his grandfather, Mike Walker.
Lyle Hornblower, 4, got a boost from his mom, Emma Boron, to look into one of the classic cars.

LCCVI grad claims Gallery scholarship
