It was a cool night but it didn’t seem to bother children across Lambton as they headed out with parents or friends to trick or treat.

In Forest, the residents of North Lambton Lodge were handing out treats to kids from the community. Staff say over 300 children came by.

In Wyoming, the local Legion opened its parking lot for Trunk or Treat – an easy spot for families to find all the good stuff.

It was hard to tell what Kaden, Olivia and Kira Grift were going to be doing after trick or treating at the Wyoming Legion’s Trunk or Treat Oct. 31. The three are all Blue Jays fans and planned to watch Game 6 of the World Series.

In Petrolia Thursday night, cars lined the Petrolia Legion parking lot and children lined up in the light rain waiting to see the amazing displays in the trunks of the vehicles and the tents set up by community groups.

The Lambton Central Petrolia Optimists were dressed as witches handing out candy during Trunk or Treat Oct. 30 at the Petrolia Legion. They also had a furry friend which attracted some eager youngsters.
Sadie Richard of Wyoming, who was dressed as Alice had her Alice in Wonderland moment. Friends Elizabeth Ryan and Christa Smith, who was dressed as Alice, created the space at the Trunk or Treat event Oct. 30 at the Petrolia Legion.
