Petrolia shifts some Canada Day events indoors

Public schools watching weather for Monday exams

Public school officials in Lambton and Kent are keeping a close eye on the weather which is threatening to throw secondary school exams off schedule.
Lambton-Kent District School Board officials say if buses are cancelled Monday in any zone in the district, Monday’s exams will be postponed for all schools within the district.
Monday’s exams, officials said, will then be Tuesday. Staff will then share the rest of the exam schedule will be shared at the schools Tuesday.
The decision regarding bus cancellations will be made early Monday morning.
