One man charged in London raid by Lambton OPP

Lambton OPP have arrested a London man after a raid on a home in London.

Lambton officers from the Community Street Crime Unit were joined by police from the West Region Intelligence Unit, Tactics and Rescue Unit, Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team as they executed a search warrant at three addresses in London. The warrants were part of an ongoing drug investigation that started in September.

Police seized cocaine, oxycodone, cash and other drug paraphnilia valued at about $41,900.

Mackenzie Morphew-Smith, 29, of London has been charged with posession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of opioids for the purpose of trafficking.

Morphew-Smith was held in custody after a bail hearing in London.
