Mya Beaudoin is joining the Western Mustangs women’s rugby side in September.
The LCCVI student confirmed her commitment to the London school with a recent post on Instagram.
“My first thought when I got to Western’s main campus was ‘wow I love the architecture’ but the more I looked around and learned about great qualities of the school and the rugby program, I knew Western was perfect for me both on and off the field,” she said.
“I can’t wait to achieve my academic and athletic goals wearing purple.”
Beaudoin, who plays club rugby with St. Georges in London, is also a competitive wrestler. She won a bronze medal at the OFSAA wrestling tournament earlier this month representing the Lancers.
