Two charged with drug trafficking after Lambton Shores tip

Two men have been charged with trafficking fentanyl after a traffic stop near Kettle and Stony Point First Nation.
April 9, Anishinabek Police got a call saying someone was on their way to the community with illicit drugs.
Just before 1 pm, Anishinabek police and Lambton OPP stopped a vehicle on Lakeshore Road in Lambton Shores. Police say a plastic bag of suspected blue fentanyl and another of white fentanyl were found during a search of the vehicle.
Police seized a total of 32 grams of fentanyl.
A 56-year-old man from Kettle and Stony Point and a 36-year-old from Lambton Shores were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Both people were released to appear in court at a later date.
