Toddler taken to hospital after downtown Petrolia accident

Lambton OPP are investigating after a toddler in a stroller was hit by an SUV in downtown Petrolia. Around 9 am, witnesses say an SUV making a turn struck the stroller being pushed across  King Street at Petrolia Line. The toddler, who was conscious but in obvious distress, was taken to hospital by paramedics. It’s not clear how serious her injuries were.
