Hydro One route sparks concern, runs over Dawn-Euphemia homes, farms

Heather Wright/The Independent Hydro One’s second transmission line from Strathroy to Lakeshore may dip through the southern portion of Dawn-Euphemia. And it could have a big impact on property owners there. The utility is already working on two transmission line projects, one in St. Clair and another from Strathroy to Lakeshore. It hopes to have it in service by 2030.

Dawn-Euphemia OKs construction project for grain operation

Rutherford will be buzzing with construction soon. Jackson Seed Service purchased the grain operation in the Dawn-Euphemia community last year. Feb.20 , Craig Jackson was at council asking for approval for his plan to revitalize the site. Jackson is building two new grain bins, a hydro transformer shed, a weigh scale and will connect to municipal water and sewer system.
