Remains found on Lasalle Line identified as murdered Sarnia man
Reading to Feed the hungry
November 16, 2013
Will Hull, 8, is busy reading his favourite book to help others. Hull and 15 other students at Tree Top Learning near Petrolia are taking part in Read to Feed, a contest devised by teacher/tutor Michelle Duquette. She’s asking her after school students to collect cash or canned goods for every book or every page of a book they read between now and the end of the school year. The money and the cans will go to the Petrolia Foodbank. “I wanted to motivate kids to read for another reason other than their teacher tells them to…so it will have a real meaning for them and it will effect someone else positively,” says Duquette. “As a group, we want to reach out to our community.”
