A Blue Point homeowner confronted a man who broke into his home.

Lambton OPP were called to Point View Dr. around 4 am. Police say a man had forced his way into the home through the attached garage. He was confronted by the homeowner and ran off. He hopped into the homeowners pickup truck.

OPP arrived moments later found the truck and a man inside and forcably removed him.

A 33 year-old Sarnia man is facing five charges including break and enter with intent, tresspassing at night and resisting arrest.

He was scheduled to be in court Thursday.

Knights take over top spot in Midwest Division

What’s in a name? Petrolia looks for help naming park containing new soccer field
