Burn ban in affect in Plympton-Wyoming

As testing ramps up, Lambton Public Health is reporting more people have tested positive for COVID-19.
Thirteen more people have tested positive for the virus in one day. And there has been another death – 14 people have now passed away because of the novel coronavirus in Lambton County. That includes six residents of Landmark Village in Sarnia.
Public Health now says 34 people at the retirement home have tested positive, including eight staff members.
The increases come as public health ramps up testing at the province’s request. Teams from Bluewater Health, Public Health and the Lambton County EMS are going to all 20 nursing and retirement homes in Lambton to test residents and staff. Landmark Village and Lambton Meadowview Villa – where one staff member tested positive – were the first to receive the tests.
Lambton Public Health received results for 119 tests yesterday, of the 984 done in the county so far, 85 per cent have been negative for COVID-19.
Officials add 50 people have now recovered from the virus.
