Three more people at Vision Nursing home test positive for virus

Three residents of Vision Nursing Home in Sarnia have tested positive for COVID-19.
Lambton Public Health declared an outbreak there on Friday. Officials had just finished testing all residents and staff before finding two employees had COVID-19.
Right now, 19 per cent of the 170 COVID-19 patients in Lambton have been in long-term care homes. Fifteen per cent of the people who tested positive for the virus work in health care.
In all there are now 170 people who have tested positive, 14 have died. Another 80 people have recovered according to Lambton Public Health statistics. There have 1,758 test results received – about 200 more than Sunday – as public health continues to test all residents and staff in nursing and retirement homes.
Meantime, there are 25 people in Bluewater Health’s COVID-19 unit – 12 have tested positive for the virus, another 13 are suspected of having it and are waiting for test results.
