May 1, 2020
The province will allow garden centers, nurseries, landscapers and lawn care services to get back to work May 4.
The premier made the announcement moments ago during a press conference in Toronto.
The businesses will have to have contact-less services like curbside pickups and follow the proper social distancing policies.
“We are opening a small list of very specific businesses, many of these are seasonal businesses, that we are confident can operate safely,” says Ford.
Also allowed to open, no touch car washes, and auto dealers by appointment. The province will allow site preparation on construction projects, broadband telecommunications projects, municipal construction projects and school projects.
Marinas and golf courses will also be able to prepare for opening at a later date.
