Two Ontario men face charges after alleged immigration fraud at Lambton College

Petrolia’s Art in the Park cancelled
May 8, 2020
Organizers of Petrolia’s Art in the Park have cancelled this year’s event.
The show brings thousands of people to Petrolia’s Victoria Park each year to listen to music and buy from artisans and artists from across the region.
The province, along with the rest of Canada, has severely limited the size of gatherings to try to stop the spread of the respiratory disease COVID-19. Provincial officials have yet to say how long it will be before events with large crowds will be possible.
Today, Premier Doug Ford told reporters that professional sports leagues will be playing to empty stadiums when they start up again.
The Town of Petrolia has said it is looking at each event and may provide some virtual alternative when possible. For example Pizzafest will be moving online, with entertainment being offered through social media and local pizza makers offering in store pickup and delivery deals for the June festival.
