COVID-19 patient count climbs to 13 Friday

There are now 13 people in Lambton with COVID-19.
Figures updated by Lambton Public Health Friday night show there were two more people diagnosed with with the novel coronavirus.
Public health is investigating two outbreaks. One is at a workplace where three people have tested positive for COVID-19. The workplace has not been identified.
The other is at Twin Lakes Terrace Nursing Home in Sarnia. Public health says one health care worker tested positive with the virus. Officials at the home say two workers are COVID-19 positive.
There have also been three cases in local schools – one each at Bright’s Grove and Col. Cameron elementary schools, the other at Northern Secondary School. About 92 people are self isolating after being in contact with the elementary school students.
And there have also been community cases, according to Lambton Medical Of Health Dr. Sudit Ranade. He’s asking people to limit their social circles in order to reduce the spread of the virus in the community.
