Lambton ‘in the driver’s seat’ as province eyes nuclear power in Courtright
The Big Squeeze
August 3, 2022
Instead of vehicles, employees of MacFarlane Chevrolet Buick GMC in Petrolia were selling lemonade, hamburgers and hotdogs as part of the second-annual Big Squeeze on Aug. 3 to raise money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton.
MacFarlane’s staff, from left, Paul Galizia, his daughter Sophia Galizia, Ronnie Sheppard, and Amy McKichan, along with Jenny MacFarlane from M&M Meats poured lemonade and cooked hamburgers and hot dogs in effort to be the location to raise the most money for the cause.
There are 30 locations throughout Lambton County participating. While the biggest winners will be the children who are a part of Big Brothers and Big Sisters, awards will be going to the business, which has the yummiest lemonade, and to the business, which has raised the most money. .
