Central Lambton election results expected by 9 pm

The polls are closed and results in the 2022 municipal election in Central Lambton are expected to be in before 9 pm.
In Petrolia; Mayor Brad Loosley is seeking re-election. Richard Poore – former administrator with the town – is opposing Loosley.
There will be at least one new council member as Don Welten did not seek re-election due to health reasons.
In Plympton-Wyoming, there will be a new mayor with the retirement of Lonny Napper. Gary Atkinson, Tim Wilkins, and Muriel Wright are seeking the mayors change. With three members of council seeking the mayor’s chair and Netty McEwen acclaimed deputy mayor there will be several new council members after tonight.
The situation is similar in St. Clair Township where long-time leader Steve Arnold retired. Tracy Kingston, Jeff Agar and Chad Shymako are up for the top job.
In Brooke-Alvinston, there will be at least one new member of council – Jamie Armstrong – a current councillor – is challenging incumbent mayor Dave Ferguson for the top job.
And in Warwick, incumbent Jackie Rombouts is facing a challenge from former mayor Todd Case.
