Brennan Feasey’s overtime goal lifted the Alvinston Killer Bees to a 3-2 win in the first game of the Western Ontario Super Hockey League final against the Thunder in Tillsonburg.

TMitch Fitzmorris drew first blood for Tillsonburg at 5:28 in the first. Justin Abraham then lifted the Thunder to a 2-0 lead late in the second.

But with just one second left in the second frame, James McEwan scored off the sticks of Franco Sproverio and Feasey.

McEwan scored again with less than three minutes left in the third to send the game into overtime. Josh Jamieson assisted on the marker.

Then McEwan who passed to Feasey who netted the winner.

Goalie Nolan Dekoning was also credited with an assist. He’d stoped 37 shots on the night.

Game two of the series moves to Alvinston Friday at 8 pm.
