The Wyoming Cattlebarons are Ontario Baseball Association Senior AA champions

The Cattlebarons beat the New Lowell Knights 10-4 to take the championship. They’d lost to the nights earlier in the day but advanced directly into the finals after winning a coin toss.

Craig Steadman pitched a complete game in the win, throwing 93 pitches and three strike outs.

Cameron Hackett had a three-run homer. Warren Boersma had three hits including a double driving in two runs and scoring twice.

Curtis Helps, Michael Robb, Daniel Gibson and Dylan Lee all had two hits as part of Wyoming’s 16 hit attack.

This is the second year in a row the Cattlebarons have won a championship. Last year, the Cattlebarons picked up the crown playing in the Senior B division during the OBAs in Petrolia. They also claimed the title in 2021.

And the Dresden Bulls are OBA C champions. The Bull beat Essex 8-4 in Port Hope.
