U13 Petrolia Oilers win International Silver Stick

The Petrolia Oiler U13’s are International Silver Stick champions.

They beat Kincardine in the final Sunday in the Forest finals.

Petrolia went 3-1 in the round robin round, beating Thorold, 2-1, Lambton Shores 2-0, Kincardine 5-2, and then lost to Penetang 3-2 in a shoot-out to earn their berth into the finals.

Then, against Kincardine, the Oilers scored in both the first and second periods before scoring three in the third to earn the Silver Stick championship in the B Tier 1 title game.
