Sarnia Sting still looking for first preseason win

The Sting came up empty in its two exhibition games in Midland.
Sarnia fell to 0-3-1 in the preseason bowing 7-2 and 5-3 to North Bay and Barrie respectively. Eamon Edgar, who has family connections to Petrolia, scored one of the goals for the Colts in the second victory.
Sarnia closes out its exhibition schedule against the Peterborough Petes tonight at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
The Sting season opener is Sept. 19 against the Windsor Spitfires. The Spits got a goal and an assist from Lambton Jr. Sting grads Jack Nesbitt and Johnny McLaughlin in a 7-3 win in Chatham.
Watford’s Evan Van Gorp scored for London in a 2-0 win at Erie Saturday.
