The Alvinston Killer Bees are seeded in the middle of the pack for the eight-team Outlaw Championship Tournament beginning later this month in Eastern Ontario.
The Bees are ranked fourth and will take on the fifth-seeded Deseronto Bulldogs in the first game for each team on Saturday, April 25 at 5 p.m.
Alvinston will also play against an unknown opponent on Sunday, April 26 at 11 a.m. as part of the first-ever year-end tournament involving Northern Premier Hockey League teams in Smiths Falls, near Ottawa.
The playoffs begin on Monday, April 27 and conclude with a championship game on Saturday, May 2 at 3 p.m.
Alvinston advanced to the inaugural event by recently capturing the Apex Cup as Metro Conference champions with a four-game series victory over Six Nations.
