LCCVI takes home three golds in Lancer Prep Invitational

The hurdlers led the way for LCCVI at the Lancer Prep Invitational at the University of Windsor.

Kole Chapman was first in the Senior Boys 100M with a time of 14.61 and 400M hurdles in 57.55 at Saturday’s event.

Xander Knapp placed second in the Junior Boys 100M hurdles.

Meagan Munro was third in the Senior Girls 100M hurdles and fourth in the 400M.

Rhys Marriott was second, Liam Hackett was second and Issac Jahnke was fifth in the Novice Boys 300M hurdles.

James Grant was also golden for LCCVI on the track. He came in first in the Boys Open 3000M with a time of 9:10.34

In the field events, Spencer Horwood placed third in the Senior Boys shot put with a throw of 12.65M

Jonah Wagner came in third in the Novice Boys Triple Jump with a leap of 11.29 meters.

Rylan Hall came in fourth in the Junior Girls Long Jump with a leap of 4.52 M

Rayah Minten and Jaylen Helps came in third and fourth in the Novice Girls shot put.

Enniskillen’s Rachel Burns of St. Pat’s came in third in the Senior Girls shot put with a throw of 9.92 metres.

North Lambton’s top finisher was Arie Roelands, who placed first in the Junior Boys Pole Vault with a jump of 3.30m

Arlee Roder placed second in the Novice Girls’ 800 meter with a time of 2:37.70. She also placed fourth in the 400m

And Lambton-Kent’s Juliet Osborne and Julia Pegg were one and two in the Senior Girls’ Triple Jump. Osborne left 10.69M, with Pegg just 20 centimetres behind.

Pegg also placed fourth in Senior Girls Long Jump with her best leap at 4.85m and fifth in Senior Girls High jump.

Amberly Van Stempvoort kept 3.82 meters in the Senior Girls’ Long Jump.
Duncan Smith of Great Lakes placed seventh in Senior Boys Shot Put
