Oil Springs’ Hull signs with Mt. Brydges Bulldogs

June 27, 2026

William Hull is moving down the road from Strathroy to Mt. Brydges for the 2026-27 hockey season.

Hull, from Oil Springs, had played 203 regular season and playoff games with the GOHL’s Strathroy Rockets since 2021 but he graduated as an overage player at the end of the last season.

However, the PJHL allows an additional year of overage eligibility giving the veteran defenceman a chance to lace them up with the Bulldogs this season.

In the same division as the Petrolia Flyers, Hull will make three visits to the Greenwood Recreation Centre this season.

The 21-year-old defenceman is a product of both the Petrolia minor hockey system and the Lambton Jr. Sting AAA organization.

Former Jr. Sting and Legionnaire Michael Mailloux has also signed with the Bulldogs for the coming season.
