OPP hopes video outlining Caughlin murder will jog memories
March 13, 2014
The OPP is hoping a new video showing the last movements of 14 year old Karen Caughlin will jog some memories.
It’s been 40 years since Caughlin was murdered. She had been roller skating with friends at the Rose Garden in Point Edward and was expected at a friend’s house for 1am. She never arrived.
Nine hours later, her body was found on Plowing Match Road.
Police took care to stage the video in chronological order and shows the areas where the young Sarnia was last scene. They’re hoping it will jog some memories.
