Two Ontario men face charges after alleged immigration fraud at Lambton College

4,800 Cobs Later
August 13, 2016
Hungry crowds gobbled down about 4,800 cobs of corn at this year’s Watford Cornfest. Volunteers Ken Campbell and Marsha DeRuiter keep the corn coming fresh from the huge corn cauldron while diners enjoyed burgers, corn dogs and as many 25 cent per corn cobs as they could eat. The price hasn’t changed in the 34 years of the festival. Cornfest also included two-pitch and horseshoe tournaments, a midway, a euchre tournament and entertainment.
