Four departments respond to Petrolia Line house fire

Seniors give back to help the hungry
September 17, 2020
Residents at Mid-Valley Apartments have always donated canned goods to the Petrolia Food Bank.
But when COVID-19 arrived in March, they changed course, collecting monetary donations instead. And the move paid off.
This summer, the people in the apartment complex donated $2,870 to the food bank and hope to give an additional donation later this year to reach their goal of $5,000.
Since the photo was taken, Linda Nenez says relatives of the residents heard about the drive and began donating as well. They now have over $4,000 in total collected.
