Temporary shelter still needed until more housing is ready

Another Lambton resident tests positive for COVID-19
October 14, 2020
There have been three people in Lambton test positive for COVID-19 in the last two days.
Lambton Public Health statistics show only two of those people are sick with symptoms right now.
Col. Cameron Public School in Corunna is dealing with a case of COVID-19. Two classes are at home isolating until Oct. 22. Officials have not said whether the person is a student or teacher.
Lambton’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Sudit Ranade, has described the pandemic as “rumbling along” in the region, with a case being diagnosed occasionally.
But the province’s urban areas are struggling. On Twitter this morning, Health Minister Christine Elliott said Ontario is reporting 721 cases with over 32,200 tests were completed.
There have been 2,274 new cases of the coronavirus in the province since Monday.
