Petrolia celebrates Year of the Garden

As the weather warms up and you’re dreaming of gardening, Petrolia wants you to dream in red and white.
The town has released its theme colours for local gardeners and it’s red and white. It also plans to mark the Centennial of Canada’s horticulture sector by calling it The Year of the Garden.
In the spring, gardeners will begin to plan their planting beds for the season and residents are encouraged to participate in the colour palette and to have some fun. The town also plans to celebrate the year June 11-15.
