Enniskillen couple remember for their love of life after ATV crash

Family and friends are mourning the loss of an Enniskillen couple who “loved life to the fullest.”

Lambton OPP said Tuesday that Ted and Susan Jolly died in the crash on Oil Heritage Road Saturday. The Independent has learned pair were riding their ATV and crossed the road on the north side of the community and were struck by a pickup truck.

Ted and Susan Jolly were married in 2016. They died in an ATV accident on Oil Heritage Road Saturday.

Susan’s sister, Judy Holt, says the couple were married in 2016, the first marriage for Susan and the second for Ted. Both had two children and two grandchildren and Holt says “Susan was an amazing Mom and the best grandma.”

Jolly at New Way Lawn Care for 18 years. “Susan would light up everyone’s day with her amazing laugh and smile,” Holt says. “She had Lyme. disease; she still came to work everyday to make sure everyone else was taken care of.”

Ted was a long time employee of the Oil Well Supply company in Petrolia. “He was an amazing dad and best papa, (and he) loved his jacked up pickup truck. They both loved ATVS and hunting.

“Susan and Ted were truly rednecks and loved life to the fullest,” says Holt.

Lambton OPP continue the investigation.
