Three charged in missing man’s murder

September 9, 2024

Sarnia Police have charged three people in the disappearance and murder of a Sarnia man.

Ten months ago, Bradley Ogilvie’s family called police to say the man was missing. The family and police actively searched for Ogilvie .

Friday, on what would have been Ogilvie’s 42nd birthday, police arrested three people and charged them with first degree murder.

Robin Alexander Maness, 44, Nikki Jean Cottrelle, 42 from Aamjiwnaang First Nation and Trevor John Waller, 47, from Sarnia have been charged and appeared in court Saturday.

In a news conference Monday, police said they learned Ogilvie was last seen alive leaving a Stuart Street home in the company of the three. Investigators also executed several search warrants and forensically examined a vehicle and home before making the arrests.

Police have yet to recover Ogilvie’s body.

“I believe someone has information that will help us find Bradley and I’m appealing for them to come forward.  Bradley’s family deserve to have full closure and the only way to do that is to bring him home,” said Sarnia Deputy Police Chief Ron Hansen.
