Guilty plea in theft and ransacking of Watford Legion
November 12, 2024
The Independent
A Watford man charged after a break in at the local Legion has plead guilty to some of the charges.
In April, when members of Branch 172 arrived at the Nauvoo Road building, they called police reporting a break-in.
Police found someone kicked in a window and entered the building early that morning. He took four cash boxes with an undisclosed amount of money and set off a fire extinguisher. The branch remained closed for two weeks for clean up.
Brendon Bolduc, 37, was charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property and bail violation charges.
Recently, Bolduc plead guilty to break and enter and mischief in relation to the incident.
He was sentenced to time served – about six months.
Bolduc will be on probation for 18 months and was ordered to pay restitution to the Legion.
