North Lambton in a must-win game Friday at OFSAA

North Lambton fell behind 22-12 after one quarter and could never recover in a 65-44 loss to ESC Sainte-Trinite in its first game at the OFSAA girls’ A basketball tournament in Breslau, near Kitchener on Thursday.

The Eagles fought back to cut the deficit to eight points at the intermission but couldn’t come all the way back.

Lily Heynsbergen led the Forest school with 11 points.

North Lambton is in a must-win situation when they take on Osgood Township from the Ottawa area over the noon hour today.
