Public health looking for boxer-like dog after bite in Sarnia

Lambton Public Health is trying to track down a dog and its owner after a walker was bit.

Officials say between 1:30 and 2pm Feb. 10, a person was bitten while at the Blackwell Trail in Sarnia.

They’re looking for a medium sized dog with brown fur and resembling a boxer. It was being walked by a woman between 40 and 50 who was carrying a walkie-talkie.

If you have any information about the dog, please call LPH at 519-383-8331. If the dog isn’t located, the victim will have to have rabies shots.
