The Mudmen are back on home turf in February.

The Alvinston-based Celtic Rock Warriors grew up in Lambton County and graduated from LCCVI. While they’ve had a lot of commercial succes, including playing with some of North America’s top musical acts such as ZZ Top, Loverboy, Brooks and Dunn, Sarah MacLaughlin, Red Ryder, Glass Tiger, 54-40, they look forward to coming back to Petrolia.

“We always enjoy performing in Petrolia,” says Robby Campbell co-founding member.

“It’s great to back home and have a hometown bash.  The smaller towns and communities like Petrolia have kept Mudmen in business for many a year. When we were dropped from the  record deal label with no radio or tv support the small towns and the farming  communities supported us and we Mudmen will never forget that.”

The band is beginning it’s 28th year together. The band has played over 3,000 shows in eight countries.

They return to Petrolia Feb. 27 at Victoria Hall in a concert sponsored by Grandis Jewellers. Tickets are on sale at the VPP box office or through mudmen.ca
