$25K reward offered to find person charged in Dane Nisbet’s murder

Sarnia police officers were in London this weekend, letting the neighbours of a man wanted for the murder of Dane Nisbet about a $25,000 reward for tips leading to the London man’s arrest.

Nisbet, 20, of Sarnia died in the shooting on the patio of the Lambton College bar, The Lion’s Den, April 10. Two of his friends from the Mooretown Flags were also shot.

Three people are in custody in Nisbet’s murder including Oudom Richard Bun, 23, of Stonehenge Place in London. He has been charged with one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder. He’s in police custody.

Kyaw Chin Doe

Police also have a warrant out for the arrest of Kyaw Chin Doe, 24, of Boullee Street in London. He’s facing charges of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder as well as possession of a firearm. Police allege Doe fired the gun adding he went into hiding shortly after the murder. Officials say Doe is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

April 17, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for Doe. April 18, Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers announced a $25,000 cash reward was being offered for information leading to Doe’s arrest.

Police investigators canvassed the Boullee Street neighborhood in London – Doe’s last address.

 “Officers are going door-to-door, advising occupants of the $25,000 reward from Crime Stoppers for any information leading to Doe’s arrest,” police said in a news release Saturday.  

“Those found to be harboring or assisting Doe may face criminal charges,” police added.
