Public health looking for people who may have been exposed to Lambton’s third measles case

Local artist can do it like Salvador Dali
December 8, 2015
Lambton County artists have a chance to have their work shown on the same walls as Salvador Dali.
The Judith and Norman Alix Art Gallery – which is currently hosting some of the world’s greatest painters including Dali – is planning the Look & See exhibit which will feature local artists.
“Look & See is an opportunity for artists living in Lambton County to engage with a public art gallery and be considered for an exhibition. It also gives curatorial staff an opportunity to get out into the community and discover what is going on in studios across the ounty,” says Gallery Curator Lisa Daniels in a news release.
Submissions for the show must be received by Jan. 8,
“Curatorial staff will review all submissions from which they will schedule up to four studio visits. Studio visits will take place between January 12 and 31.”
The shows will be on display in March and July.
If you’re interested in submitting, the guidelines can be found at www.jnaag.ca or by contacting the gallery. There will be a $25 submission fee for those who aren’t members of the gallery.
