Petrolia starting Tuesday Night Market in July

June 18, 2021

Petrolia is starting what it hopes will be a new Tuesday tradition.

The town is starting a Tuesday Night Market. It will be different vendors than the Saturday Farmers’ Market and offer a variety of arts, crafts, food vendors, breweries and wineries. It starts July 6 and runs until Aug. 31.

“The idea of an evening market has been on our radar for a few years,” says Dave Menzies, director of facilities and community services in Petrolia. “I am looking forward to families enjoying a visit to the Tuesday Night Market and browsing the unique items.”

The town will have COVID-19 protocols in place at the Tuesday night market as it does during the Saturday market.

The town is looking for vendors. You can find the application form here: http://town.petrolia.on.ca/residence/farmers-market/  .
