Wyoming’s Jackson helps South Mountain to victory

Core Jackson had two hits, including a double, a walk and an RBI to help South Mountain Community College to a 13-1 win over Arizona Western in Arizona Community College Athletic Association ACCAA baseball action Saturday.

South Mountain is in third place in the conference with a record of 19-9 and they are 33-11 overall.

Jackson, from Wyoming, has hit safely in nine of his past 11 games dating back to a season-high four hits and six RBI performance two weeks ago.

His stat line this season is .306/.401/.493 with 12 doubles, three triples, three homers, 19 RBI and 33 runs scored.

The South Mountain regular season continues until the end of the month.
