Timms, who has ties to Watford and Sarnia, has been missing three years

The OPP say the Deana Timms is a victim of foul play. And the province is now offering a $50,000 reward – a “renewed plea” say police to find information about the woman who has now been missing for three years.
Timms, who grew up in Sarnia but had been living in Watford, was last seen in London in February 2021.
“She was not reported missing to the OPP until 2022,” says OPP Det. Insp. Mike Moore, who heads up the investigation into Timms’ disappearance. “So, she was last seen at the end of February, beginning of March of 2021 however, she was not reported missing to police until February of 2022.”
Moore says police have followed leads dug up in London, Watford and Sarnia.
“We know she was picked up from a residence in London during that time frame, and she was to make her way back to the Watford area in Lambton County. And after that, that’s when things start going a little bit different, where we can’t really account for her afterwards,” says Moore.
And now OPP fear the worst.
“Given the fact that you know she’s been missing for this extended period of time, and we are now at the point in our investigation that we believe foul play has occurred,” says Moore.

Moore says “what we’ve learned over the course of the investigation, as well as the obvious signs that are out there with her not having contacted or communicated with any friends or family in that entire time period” lead police to believe she is dead.
Det. Insp. Moore says the family wants to know what has happened to Timms. “This is completely uncharacteristic for her. And having spoken and interviewed with friends and family, everybody’s obviously extremely concerned and fear the worst given the fact that she’s been not seen or heard from in over three years.”
Tuesday, the province announced it is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for Timms’s disappearance.
“We’re hoping that the $50,000 reward will encourage people to come forward and give information in order to help us solve what happened to her and get closure for the family.”
Deana Timms is 34 years-old, a white female, 5’4” and 120 lbs with brown hair and eyes.
Anyone with information can contact Lambton OPP or Crime Stoppers or use the tip line or email dedicated to the case at 1-844-677-9402 and opp.timms.missing.person@opp.ca.
