Warwick Township celebrated a hometown hero’s success Saturday.

Evan Van Gorp of the Memorial Cup Champion London Knights was honoured in Watford during the annual Cornfest. Warwick Mayor Todd Case and Deputy Mayor John Couwenberg presented Van Gorp with a plaque recognizing his accomplishments, and unveiled a permanent plaque that will be displayed the Watford arena.
