Tractors roll into Wyoming as town celebrates Christmas in the Village

After the Wyoming Christmas Tree was lit at Christmas in the Village, there were tractors as far as the eye could see. The Plympton-Wyoming Special Events Committee it’s annual Christmas event on one of the coldest nights of December.

The third annual tractor parade was part of the event. One of the organizers, Lisa Atkinson, says about 50 tractors were slated to arrive for the event but about 35 made their way down the streets. The rest were unable to start because of the cold.

Broadway Street was filled with families watching as Don Moffatt’s steam engine led the parade through the streets to the fairgrounds.

Residents found more light displays there plus entertainment and food.
