Sarnia residents lined Lakeshore Road, finding as much shade as they could for the annual Sarnia Canada Day parade.

The event is one of the largest in the region.

The end of the Sarnia parade route was more packed than usual as everyone sought the shade to enjoy the day.
The Ramsay family from Petrolia and the Anderson family from Forest were cheering at the Sarnia Canada Day parade.
The Sarnia fire department brought the antique fire truck to the Canada Day parade.
Simon the Camel from Petrolia was loving the heat in Canatara Park on Canada Day.
A large crowd at the Sarnia Canada Day parade cheered on Simon the Camel and Meghan Clarke.
