Diesel fuel spill leads to drinking water ban in Corunna

Lambton Public Health is warning homeowners in Corunna with private drinking water systems to to use their tap water. In a news release Sunday, Lambton’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Karalyn Dueck, says private drinking water systems near Hill and Lyndock Streets may be contaminated with diesel fuel after an incident from local industry. ‘Threatening images’ prompt OPP presence at Corunna school

St. Clair road and bridge projects come in $1.3M under budget

Licence suspended, vehicle impounded after Sunday accident

May 14, 2024

A 21 year-old Petrolia man has been charged after a weekend accident at the corner of Mandaumin Road and Lasalle Line. Firefighters from St. Clair Township and Petrolia along with the OPP were called to the corner just after 5 pm Sunday for the two car crash.
