It seems Zombies don’t like the rain.

Due to weather reports calling for rain Friday (Oct. 3), Zombies Invade Boom Town has been re-scheduled to Friday, Oct. 24, 7:00 – 9:30 PM at Petrolia Discovery, with a rain date of Saturday.

The Lambton Young Theatre Players and The Petrolia Discovery  are working together on the event which features oil-sucking Zombies, a Zombie wedding, barbecue and hoedown. Young actors from the theatre group roam the grounds of the historic oil field for the event.

However the weather reports indicate rain may make for a difficult night Friday for the outdoor event, according Artistic Director Nancy Keys so the event has been rescheduled to Oct. 24.
