March 10, 2025

A Sarnia driver is facing charges after an accident at the corner of Broadway and Confederation in Wyoming.

Lambton OPP were called to the corner early Sunday morning. One person was treated at the scene for injuries.

A 26 year-old faces charges of impaired driving, dangerous operation of a vehicle and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.

Police suspended the driver’s licence and impounded their vehicle under the 90-day Administrative Drivers License Suspension program.

The corner is slated to have a traffic light. It was supposed to be installed this fall however the cold weather delayed the work. Plympton-Wyoming public works officials expect it will be installed in the spring.
