Three LCCVI students have been honoured at the Sarnia-Lambton YMCA Youth Awards

Hunter Campbell won the Alan Stevenson Award which honours a student who helped promote the mental well-being of others and encouraged those with mental health issues to come forward and seek professional treatment and support and provided leadership to efforts to remove the stigma and secrecy about mental health.
Ryan Shaw won the Arts & Culture Award which recognized his contribution the performing arts. Shaw has been active in the local and regional theatre scene.

Norah Stephens a graduate of LCCVI won the YMCA Core Values Award. Stephens, who works for the Y, received the award for living the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and inclusiveness in her daily lives.
