North Lambton athlete breaks West region record in Day Two of track and field championships

Petrolia out of Hockeyville running
March 6, 2016
After a day celebrating hockey, including a big win by the Petrolia Squires, there was disappointment as Petrolia Minor Hockey’s dream to be named Hockeyville ended.
The PMHA and the Town of Petrolia worked for the past few weeks to get the community behind the bid which relies on communities using social media to promote their bid in the contest sponsored by Kraft. The grand prize is $100,000 and a pre-season NHL game in the community.
The top 10 communities in the voting were revealed Saturday around 11pm. Brockville and a Toronto area community are Ontario’s representative in the contest.
