PPC leader expected in Inwood Wednesday morning
September 15, 2021
For the first time in the federal election, a federal leader is making a stop in Lambton County.
Maxime Bernier who heads the Peoples Party of Canada was in Sarnia this morning for a scheduled event and is making his way to Inwood to speak to supporters at Kelly’s Sporting Goods on Courtright Line for 10 am this morning. After the rally, he’s heading to Chatham to meet with supporters there.
National polling shows the PPC is gaining popular support with its anti-lockdown, less government message. Some polls place the party at 11 per cent popular support and shows Bernier could regain his seat in the House of Commons in the Sept. 20th vote.
